i know i have seen your car before, do you drive down colvin blvd. ever
Hope you got some plans for some serious tires
I miss my jetta nice build, nice car
VW’s can definitely make power…it does happen from time to time.
I’d have the AFR checked with an accurate meter.
It’s not the positioning. I thought that was it til I started using other places with Dynojets with that same wideband setup and the AFRs were correct. The other places clean the tubing etc. out frequently and said that places that let it get dirty or the sensor get old have that problem. The sniffer on my Dyno Dynamics always read accurately too. The Dynojet I used Saturday read within 0.2 AFR of the wideband I have in the downpipe.
The car at Jitter Bug, I remember that.
To the OP, you should go to June Jitter Bug in Niagara Falls Ont in the spring with us. I don’t have a VW anymore and I still go, such a nice relaxed event. There are some pretty nice cars that show up, including a 4xx whp 24V VR6T MK3, the turbo on it is ungodly big.
I did have some issues with the wiper cowel melting last year. I solved that by installing some heat reflective tape and the problem has since vanished.
The car is my daily with only 23k on it. I did have an 01 Audi a4 that i picked up from auction but it was totaled last year while it was parked in front of my apartment…long story.
Anyways…I just got back from Vegas so I should prolly go unpack haha
I would def ride up with you guys
If you drive up with us, we demand a 50+mph rolling burnout.
I can def do that with the tires that are on the car now…haha
I don’t have any good recent pictures of the car and no rolling shots at all. Think someone would be able to hook me up?
nice dude. im hoping to get a little bit bigger turbo on my gti next year… well see. hope to see you around next year
I’m actually starting to look into another set of wheels with some drag radials on the front. Any suggestions as to which I should go with?
fix that a/f please.
