yeah some people do that, but myself, im not opening the lights up again. i might unload these and buy a different set of lights. they use stock US housings, FX-R projectors with bixenon function. same guy i bought mine from builds them
yeah i like them, plus the light output is far superior to any US market Mk4 jetta headlight.
