I was a kid in a candy store there when I used to detail more regularly. Now I just stock up on stuff for my own [dirty 24/7] cars but they still take care of me like I was a big timer. Great service.
All this detailing talk is making me want to clean something…
Absolutely true. But in my own experience some of the high end detailing product are truly a cut above Griots and some others. It looks like Ryan knows what he’s doing because your Vette came out great so he’d be able to tell what’s a better product from each company for each color/age/manufacturer (anyone ever detailed a Subaru?). A good detailer can definitely tell and good equipment and products just make their work better.
Thanks for all the tips, JClark, like I said when I run out of my current supply I’ll keep my mind open with those other companies. Griot’s hasn’t let me down once though, they’ve got great customer service and give repeat customers like myself price breaks and shipping breaks. Unless I hear god-like things about the other companies, realistically, I’ll be a Griot’s man for a long time.
I did cazwrx’s 02 PSM WRX a few months ago, why?
By the way, my work-in-progress for today, JClark you can appreciate this…
I haven’t checked this thread in weeks… I probably should be checking it regularly :lol
Swift- I would recommend having me do the full dealio on the outside, it would only me $60 because your car is in pretty great shape already and you’ll be VERY happy with the results ;D
94 Sentra- I’ve seen your car at the lot before once or twice but I never really looked at the paint closely… maybe we could meet up sometime and I could do a “consultation” to see if my polishes/orbital can take out your scratches? If they’re really deep, there’s not much I can do but if they’re just through the clearcoat a little bit, you wouldn’t even know they were there by the time I finished with them.
wow exit 28. I DONT MISS THAT RIDE EVERY DAY. glad that job’s over… :nod
what ur schedule like. how much notice do u need. i need to get the Momma’s truck done b4 winter breaks. i’m lazy and haven’t waxed once this year … the truck that is… ;D
well im at the lot every weekend, you probibly dont remember but i went to your middle school for half a year back in 8th grade, used to sit at your lunch table lmao, i was gonna talk to you about my paint last weekend when we were all standing there but you were just about to leave, all i pretty much want to know is if the paint can be saved or if i should look at getting a new paint job
Kramer will be doing a boat for my father at some point soon. Sleeping quarters, bathroom, etc. Seems like a task to me but he seems to do great work. I’m sure pics will be taken of that and posted.
Great stuff, no doubt. I use to think they were the best too until George at detailed image suggested a few things. Of course it was more expensive, but worth it, IMO.
