Tuned the car this weekend for my race gas and made 488 whp and 405 tq woooo … So I went to the track today and had 9 psi in my slicks first run. That didnt work at all spinning 4th so I backed out of it and pulled a 12.1 at 124. Kinda beat being I ran 11’s on street tires and trapped higher. So I decided to try 6 psi. Went to the line and did a small burn out to the point of the slicks hooking pulled me out of the box. Started to think man here it is, its hooking great. Tach the car to 7500 … light goes green I slip the clutch and my head goes back and pop. Blew my diff out the transmission case before the 60’ hahahaha. I guess it happens but I pulled some good reaction times today in the .200 range. O well next weekend test n tune we will try again … stock trans again though :dunno:
