sorry i misread it…i thought you said cylinder 2 melted…
Yeah it happened probably every other time i’d spray. Thank a lot for the offer man, i really appreciate it but my dad is going to tear it down and rebuild it, if i have any questions, i’ll be sure to come to you man!
That is a SICK video…K20’s on spray killin it!! I love how the one guy was like “tell him to do it again, i wanna spray!” lollll exactly something i would do. :lol
Doesn’t appear to be any damage to the pistons nor the cylinder walls…The valves just won’t shut due to pieces of spark plug melted to them…cylinder 2 is slightly losing compression as well because of it with further research today :lol
he miss placed the “p” in put with an “o” :confused
:banana Now to find someone that wants a clean 4 door shell K20 prepped :headbang If I didn’t have to cut the OEM motor mount out, i’d def put a B20 vtec in there
It did…got sucked into the valves which led to pieces melting to the valves causing them to not shut which leads to losing compression in whatever cylinder the valves aren’t closing. ;D
I’ve had multiple sets blow now…this was the most recent. All together i’ve gone through 10 spark plugs, 2 of the last set were still good. I’m assuming the others had been blown out the exhaust as there is no cylinder damage that we’ve discovered yet. We still have yet to disassemble the motor.
No but my dad took the header off and looked inside with some contraption he has and can see pieces melted to the valves causing them to not close.
