Thanks gents. I think its one of the nicest looking cars ever built. I wish the interior was a little different but not sure how i would like it. When i seen the grandsport in 2011 i pretty much made my Dad go buy one. I almost bought a Crystal red/blk/blk 427 with zr1 wheels but love anniv editions as long as more of just a badge.

I was actually talking to a guy from bowling green and told him i bought this and he got all giddy and said how much the others at the plant loved them. On corvette nation the guy was praising the c7 and saying how awesome it was but said how a 63 split window was his favorite and those new 427 convertibles were definitely keepers!!!

Yeah i seen the threads and pretty sure i posted in one. There is no question that the C7 is the’better’ car as i guess its amazing but every generation is way better then the last. Was watching mecum last night and they had an 04 cobra on there and remembered how everyone was talking about the 05’s and how great they were. I would take a 04 over an o5+ in a second. Im sure i will have a C7 one day but man cant imagine it would ever take this ones place.
Wish i couldve walked down the line with it and started it tho when it was made
