Went out for a car and got a car

Flew to St. Louis one way for a 2001 BMW M5. Drove it back.

This car embodies everything I would want in a car.

I went for a ride in EvoMR’s Uncles a few years back and was pretty impressed. Needless to say it stuck with me.

I like the looks of the E39 so much more than the E60. Definitely could not afford a new one lol. Decided to pick up an M5 after Turbociv wouldn’t sell me his 540i/6 for $2500.

This is also the first fun car I have owned since 2002 I think. It has been a long time coming. All smiles on the way back.

A friend of mine sold his e36 M3 and upgraded to one of these.
Got a ride in it and ohh how well it pulls, but still refined! Very nice!

How many miles on it and if you don’t mind, ballpark of what you paid?
