I love big dogs…little dogs and cats don’t do it for me…unless they are cooked in some sweet Chinese souse.
My mom’s friend has two Nefies, they are like bears, and oh so cuddly. Yah I said that.
My Newf, George, is the biggest baby in the world, though you would never think it by the sound of his bark. It is comical when he runs and hides from thunder, or things half his size.
Quattro do you take your dog swimming anywhere? I’m dying to get Henry in the water.

I tried and he just didn’t get how to swim. He just walked around the perimiter of the pond where it was shallow. He did walk to far in and slid off the ledge into the deeper part and I had to pull back on the leash as he went under. I’m positive if there was another dog there swimming he would get it. There are some cool videos on Youtube of Newfs swimming, one towing a boat, and then a whole group going swimming where they basically pull in the people holding on to their leashes as they get all excited.
Sounds like it wasn’t the dog rather the owner.
cool this summer im goingto try to take him in blossom creek or somewhere where there is shallow semi clean water. Hopefully he will take to it like one of the rescue dogs.

my dog has issues with the water, he is addicted. I like it.
when i take my dog to the creek, he tries to eat the water. i get worried because i don’t want him to inhale it and die from drowning hours later like that one little boy did last year.

I took him to the creek by the park in the corner of clinton and union. He was jumping in the water like a fucking maniac! I cant wait to take him to deeper water.
