I love C5s. I was thinking about getting one instead of another project but I just don’t think it would scratch the itch the same way.
Good choice. I switched to a C5 a year and a half ago with the same intent; drive it instead of work on it. So far so good. I switched the shifter box out for the MGW shifter with a stock C6 knob and I love it.
Those are terrible.

i hate the projector options, it’s like putting lipstick on a pig, and just ends up looking too googly-eyed, like this:
I’ll wetsand and polish the stock lenses, throw in some good silverstar bulbs, and call it a day

I think those conversion lenses would look fine if you left off the halos and got rid of the high beam reflector and used a bi xenon projector instead.

weird I have some 17 inch drag radials on C5 rims…looks like he can be ready for opening day at the track.
