First. I’m a girl so I typeeee likeee thisss because I type how I would say it in real life. Emphasis. Second, the only shop it will be in is at my work. Haha. I was bored. Needed something to spend my $ on. It’s really not a bad pickup at all. It has started every time so far. I’m not worried about it breaking too bad. Made it back to buffalo just fine.

So many good comments in here already pertaining to VW ownership so I wont say anything more. haha Besides, Next week Corinne is picking up a pristine 99 Cabby, the only VW I love and would drive so I guess I cant really talk too much shit on VWs or their owners anymore.
Congrats on purchasing what looks to be a stellar VW. I hope it treats you well. I will say this though, like what bing said above, you could have something RWD!!! Miata, S14 etc that would give you less problems while DDing it and doing heaeters! But hey, rock what you love. I know I do. and I’m gonna rock the shit out of Corinne’s cabby any chance she lets me lol I may even play Hanson or Mariah Carey while driving it.
Its very clean and i have always like these. However i did like them more years ago when i assumed they were rwd.

I’m sure it will run fine on regular or 89, but even my 87 scirocco had a factory label on the inside of the fuel filler door that said to run 95ron/91 octane in it.
I think the dude rebuilt the engine, maybe with some better stuff in it, for a low psi setup on stock compression.
Everyone realizes that I’m fully aware that I could have gotten a rwd car, right? I didn’t want a miata or a 240 or even another e30. Everyone and their mom has em. I’m happy with my purchase even if I can’t do burnouts. The price I paid for this is doesn’t even compare to what pile of junk not clean e30 I could get in same price range.
