meh, i never got off a clean run after i made the power my motor puts out. seems like everytime i went to the track something would come up. So im not gunna make excuses for my shitty time. best was 8.0 but it was far from a clean run. if i could pull off sub 1.8 60’s and possible not break up half way down the track the i would net around a 7.8. I however did find the problem and fixed it (loose tack signal wire), which was right before we raced.

Back onto topic. Good NA numbers from the stang. Im sure 10’s will be the norm for ya next year.:tup:

umm i dont think so, the c4 prolly helped with the 11.0s consistant. but i can drive a 5 speed.

and john - 10.5s next year. same exact combo just a big hands tune.

yeah i picked up 1 hp deffinently not worth leaving that off and its pretty plugged up with some shit too and it still made good powa

jcool409: the on/off differnece was worth about .10 - .15, took me from running 7 flat into high 6’s

Have a look at this article,using a good airfilter showed a gain of 15hp.A shitty $2 paper airfilter wont give you hp,its more for protection.(dyno charts in the article with a few diff setups)

I know people who’ve picked up a tenth or 2 by using the whole K&N setup.

as far as the air filter thingy goes on most carbed setups they will run more rich with a filter on you just have to tune your setup with a filter on all the tim to get good results
