I’ve been all over Costa Rica from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast. Last time, i was there for 17 days and did a lot tourist type things. Went and saw some volcanoes, surfing, hiking, partying, etc. I have a good friend who’s a native so i got to see all the local “jewels”
This time, i’m going for 10 days. I’ll be flying into San Jose, staying there for a few days, and then taking a puddle jumper to Liberia. This time plans are to go Marlin Fishing, relax, and purchase some investment property.

Awesome.
When I was there it was on basically the world’s coolest field trip. Before my father in law passed he was head of the biology department at JCC and developed a tropical biology seminar that met 4 times then spent 8 days in Costa Rica and 2 more in Panama. After he passed my wife and I went on his field trip while it was still going on.
First night was at Arenal. I can’t think of too many cooler things I’ve done than sitting at a bar watching a volcano erupt in the night. Then on to La Quinta resort in Sarapiqui, then Mawamba lodge in Tortuguero, then Almonds & Corals in Manzanillo. From there down to Bocas del Toro in Panama.
Coolest college class I’ve ever taken.
my coolest class trip was my seinor year when we went to london england. 5 days of trying to understand the accent. i did not have to pay all that much to go because our seinor store made like 9 grand.

Bump. Tacked on a few more over the last couple of years. Thailand was one of the nicest places I’ve been, and Cambodia is up there with Angola for glad-I-went-now-I-don’t-ever-want-to-go-back.
Anybody else bouncing around this little planet?
I went to Italy last August but thats it at the moment Thailand is on my list. I’ve heard nothing but great things about that place.
