in all fairness, if McCain had run on the platform he ran on in 2000, and had chosen somebody realistic as a running mate, I wouldn’t have automatically supported whoever won the Democratic primary.
if it was McCain(2000) + Lincoln Chafee vs Hillary Clinton, I might have had a McCain sign in the front yard.
