Received: APR Stage 1 for my MKVI GTI from my girlfriend. Yamaha dxg-230 keyboard from my parents.
Gave: Canon eos rebel t4i kit + canon telephoto lens to my girlfriend. Canon photo printer and scanner for my parents. They are starting to archive their several decade collection of photographs. They had me set it up right away and were already getting to work before I left lol.
I also received this entire week and half of next week off from work. This has been a nice and peaceful Christmas.
I haven’t exchanged with my wife in years. It works out great, less money spent on stuff we could just buy ourselves.
Seems like the Keurig was a common gift this year. My parents got like the super deluxe one they sell. Their one downfall…Tim Horton’s does not make K-Cups :(.
Gave my family a bunch of giftcards to Amazon, my dad I got Village Beer Merchant and Premier Gormet, got my brother Pacsun so he can stop wearing my old clothes.
I got a bunch of Gift cards to home depot (New house), best buy, etc. Also got some new ties for work, pretty pumped, some other stuff as well. Couple more days then I get more presents for my birthday
My parents a fucking awesome. They got me a 1 hour of Flying lessons through a guy in Akron/Lancaster. I have been wanting to try this and eventually get my license. This was huge for me!
people do get all excited to spend $100/pound for stale coffee once you buy them a Keurig…
My grandparents rented a beach house this week for whatever family could show up down in Naples, FL near their place. They figured it would be awesome to have all of the family around while not at their house, it’s working out great as they can just go home when they’ve had enough partying. We did a white elephant gift thing so that nobody had to spend a lot of money or deal with packing tons of stuff they don’t want to take home.
