What do ya do for a living?

how’s that goin for ya, my aunt’s trying to push me into going through that cardiac cath tech program that hvcc is offering

Ahhh, same park as Advance’s PDQ 20 warehouse. I wanna say we’re building… 3?

You are correct sir.

they have a program for a tech job???

I would check out the different hospitals…alot of the time they just need experience… but shit, if they have a program, it will make my transition into the EP lab so much easier. I’ve worked as a surgical care tech for ~2 years, so they consider that experience…

seems like alot of hoops to jump through…

yea man, you dont need an f’in course for that. save your money and just get a position as a care tech. might have to wipe some ass depending on where you go but its better than having to pay for a “course” and then you still dont have any work experience.

edit: just read some more… you need 200 hours of tech experience just to get into that program…dang… I wonder what the rates are for a cath lab technician nowadays

my aunt works for st jude and at ellis she tells me they are getting upwards of $22/hr…

dang…

ahhh your aunt’s a rep… they have a huge amount of knowledge when it comes to CV stuff. I might actually be considering this, depending on the wages in the area. Thanks dude, it definitely beats the hell out of the nursing program !

his aunt is the shit!!! i still want the puppy!

fuck yeah, one of the reps she hired started off at $70k no lpn, no rn, only prior tech experience and the St Jude ‘pacer school’

i’d rock that lol

lotsss of bennies/perks out the ass…

and yeah, my aunt’s the shit until she’s your landlord :shifty

does she have the hookups as far as getting into the pacer school?
