At one point 52-year-old David Hartshorn was named “Little League Coach of the Year.” But according to police in Queens, that just allowed him to get close to barely pubescent boys to pursue his greater interest: filming his players having sex with each other…

  		His victims recently went to police, saying they were molested by  the coach beginning in 2009 and continuing until just a few weeks ago.  The three boys -- two 14-year-olds and one 13-year-old -- say Hartshorn  brought them to his home to watch porn and then filmed them having sex.  Most of the incidents took place when the kids were at his house for  sleepovers.

In one incident last August, he invited six boys over to his home to play poker. The loser had to perform a sexual act on another boy while Hartshorn filmed it on his camcorder and the other kids watched.

But a search warrant suggests he’s been going perv on kids for much longer than that. Police confiscated a pile of 8 mm, VHS and DVD recordings from his home. They not only showed his players in sexual encounters, but some contained sexual activities featuring kids under the age of 10.

Police are now looking for other victims. In the meantime, Hartshorn has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual acts, use of a child in a sexual performance and endangering the welfare of a child.

Quite a time period of technology there. Definitely agree that this has been going on for a while.

Also, where were the parents when the coach asked all the boys to come sleep over? I played a lot of team sports when I was growing up and I never went to the coaches house for a sleep over.

When I was young I went to a pizza party at the coaches house for baseball (all the parents were there) and one year my hockey coach made a rink in his backyard and we all got together and played pond hockey like a week after the season ended. Now that was fucking sweet

I would think if a coach asked for a sleepover my parents would say no, then call the police
