Not sure if this is the right place… but OT seemed too OT.
Basically I picked up a 95 MAXII from a buddy of mine for free. No motor. No seat, no pans, and about 4" of sitting water in it.
Started stripping it the night I got it home, and the entire frame was rusted. Everything came off it pretty easily though, as it was only surface rust. I knew I needed a motor, seat, floorpan, and possibly a whole crap load of other stuff.
Started off with this:
18HP B&S Vanguard V-Twin. Should make decent TQ and will make a little more HP with a re-jetting. A friend of mine has a cam in his, makes about 24hp.
This parts cart has the Skidsteer transmission, that I hope works, and all the other crap I pulled off of the frame so I could clean it up.
Here is the frame… looking to sandblast it or something… can’t wirebrush much more of it.
Storage for the body.
Had my little brother hold the front while it was being hung by rachet straps, then I picked up the back and had him zip tie it up… and then did the front. Took up ay too much room on the floor, and now I can store stuff underneath it.
This is the stuff underneath it.
Came with like new wheels/tires. Lawnmower, trailers, sprayers, and weed wackers fit nicely under there. All this stuff was free. So was the leaf blower.
When the 6 wheeler is done, I’ll be moving on to the Blaster. This thing rips… it is actually quicker than a stock Banshee… Needs motor mounts and a piece if the frame put back in… lol
So thats what I’ve been up to. I’m out of room in the barn already… I’ll probably throw a leantoo on the back of it for the toys, and put up a 2 car garage attached to the house for the trucks.
