side note:
i think i’m the only board member (other than you really old losers that had 4 speed stick muscle cars back in the day) to have owned a 4 speed stick car…and a 4 speed stick import at that.
i’ll never forget the first few times driving it trying to get into a 5th gear that didn’t exist just out of habit…was quite startling to have no such gear exist and have the shifter just not move lol

I will never own an automatic car EVER again. (with the exception of a CL benz.)
In order of purchase, I still own all of them but the 1994 Camry.
1992 Camry V6 - MT
1994 Camry Coupe - AT (Sold because I realized how much I hate AT)
1981 Celica - MT
1983 Supra - AT (and I hate it. But it was in a good condition and they dont come around everyday)
I’ve only owned 2 autos.
My 04 grand cherokee. and my 06 gti.
GTI was dsg though…
4 cars, only one of them manual. For a fun/sports car, Ill never drive anything else. = 25%

Meh stick is fun is the car is quick and handles well…
Stick in a slow DD is worthless…This became very apparent in DC traffic 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours on the way home.
50% for me…I doubt I will ever own another stick DD unless we never get winter again in Buffalo and I drive a C6 year round.
no you arent. my sentra was a 4 speed. i later converted it to 5-speed when the 4 speed went.

I’ve actually probably owned more 4speeds than 5, all my old VWs and my Benz. I bought my Accord and was thrilled to have a 5-speed again. It even has the 5-speed badge on the back, and “Power Steering” on the steering wheel badge, old school!
