What's a semi-interesting DD for 25K?

When I was in Moab I had a wrangler rubicon for a rental. I liked driving it there, I would HATE driving it every day.

Haha, too old.

I’ve been driving new(ish) cars for the past 12 years. I don’t think I can stomach driving something that’s going to fall into that price range. The extra 10 grand isn’t going to hurt me much, worth it for peace of mind.

:bloated:

@XwalkerX can you really get a 335d for $25k?

What about a CTS-V? They’re semi-interesting, comfortable and quick. Probably not hitting any homer runs on cargo space though.

Used 5-series are cool too. If you can find a v8 5-series with a manual, I think that would be pretty sweet.

there are 37 of them on autotrader around 30k miles for 22-25k

Awesome, definitely an attractive option in my opinion. Although, with the price of diesel being so high these days, I’m not sure there’s much benefit. I wouldn’t rule out a faster gasoline option.

You could find an e55 wagon in that price range. I had zero issues with mine from a maint. Standpoint.

Older 7 series?

Mini Countryman.

A turbocharged Maxima.

I’m really happy with my g37x and it falls in that price range.

damn you… I came here to post this and you already did and it was the first post.

serious answer: a really nice porsche 996, you can even get a C4 if you want AWD. people paid 70+ for these and now it can be your winter beater.

Walker hit the nail on the head here. Somewhat fun to drive, decent gas milage, good space in a e90, nice interiors and price range is on point. I literally am going through this faze now, as I sold my e90, except my budget is half of yours you God damn baller lol. Good luck buddy.

I have a 2003 Taurus for $2,000

pocket the other 23 grand.

$$$$$$… take a trip to Saudi Arabia and get arrested for base jumping the worlds tallest building…

…Fame /.

Only reservation on 335d is I’d rather have AWD

How set on AWD are you? My 330i (RWD) with snows handles the winter no problem. I drive to EA and back to Buffalo daily, EA is always getting hammered with snow. Not once have I been concerned.

Since you asked for weird things and you love the aztec which also comes in orange… Can get one loaded for 25k, and you know how subaru’s hold their value. Tons of room but not huge, AWD, basically a mix between a forester and an impreza. Forester utility without needing to be a lesbian.

I wish I were a lesbian.
