I wasn’t implying that. I was talking about buying cars like a m5 with 100k miles or a Isf for 25k even though they are In the 40s… I sometimes wonder where people find pricing on cars…
Kind of combined this thread with the other thread by accident about the m5 or e46 m3.
Real quick for everyone who thinks you can buy a Isf for 25k or a m5, you guys gotta stop dreaming.
I picked it up earlier this year, still under warranty for 23.5 iirc with 6x,xxx miles
Dave, If you are at all interested in the Caddy’s, If I get some free time I’d let ya take it for a rip under the agreement you break anything you pay to get it fixed haha.
i think im just going to buy a cheap ass daily and a nasty summer car, some guy in newburg has an 06 civic that i got down to 4k lol, was hoping i could find one with nav but fuck if im gonna pay 3-4k more JUST for nav … theres no newer luxury car that im in love with that wont cost me an arm and a leg to maintain which is important as i do 350 mile road trips once a week for work as well as 150 mile road trips for work and daily driving.
lol maybe, but i know nothing about them… i saw your for sale ad, isnt 200k alot of miles for a 7k asking price? i like the look of the car, just dont know shit about them.
I’d take a bit less than 7k, but TDIs hold their value really well. 200k is nothing for a TDI, they go forever. You could prob buy a TDI, drive it for 20k+ miles and sell it for a similar price you bought it for lol.
You should be able to find some lightly modded on LS1 tech in your price range (depending on year and milage). Over all great reliable cars and they sound damn sexy with full exhaust. Granted winter driving is not going to be great, but you do have a truck, unless your planning on dumping that.
I wouldnt trust a 31 year old car with that low mileage to be reliable. Seems like there would be alot of replacing dryrotted seals/gaskets and hoses/lines.
