How would that show it was a swap :dunno: I pulled the block to rebuild the upper end and paint the block. There wasnt a note that said, “This was a swapped block” when i pulled it
oh i thought you meant you PUT the engine in…you never said you pulled it to fix it i assumed you got it from somewhere and put it in
Haha, no. Should of clarified. I pulled what I thought was the stock block, then put the same one back in. Sorry for my sarcasm
rofl
did you put a post-it on there for the next guy?
welcome :blue:
LOL. This was a great Welcome to the newbie. Im glad I finally came to the site. We should have fun.
by the way whitey>chris of www.PAStreetRacing.net
Welcome. I’ve spent a decent amount of time up in those parts, especially at the track. Where at up there?
Stroudsburg. Thats the biggest area you would know. To get more specific, it would be Tannersville which is where The Crossings Outlets are located.
welcome :mullet:
?
I know exactly where you are. Welcome. My parents spent some time in Williamsport and I used to be at the track 4 or 5 times a year. Once I get the car back together I’ll be back up. Nice country.
Alright cool. Yea Williamsport is further north. I usually go up to Scranton for the malls and everything. Its decent up here, just gets boring at times, but weather’s getting nice…Time to start working on the cars again.
Welcome
Yeah me and Showtime knew a chick that worked at Socks Galore up there. I usually try to stay at that hotel right off of exit 43 (forget what the new number is…) and usually its to the track, that little pizza shop before you get to the ramp for 80 and then the hotel to sleep. Yeah, I guess this is the time the weather is about to break up there. Usually the club I raced with would be up there the last weekend in April - usually cold and the one year we had sleet. Crazy weather you have.
I’m done - welcome again. Cool swap or what ever might have been done…
welcome
I bet it’s still a 305.
I have seen some pretty crazy things done to cars to sell them. I was told my truck had a 390 in it, but actually has a beat to hell 360 ( they look identical on the outside).
welcome
Unless the guy somehow had the block re-casted to put that 5.7L on it. Im pretty sure he didnt go through that much trouble.
nice car man!!! nice SN…that was a good movie
ford made a 360
