Where to acquire copper wire and sheet?

I am looking to purchase ~2 ft of standard solid-core 3-conductor wire used for most house wiring, and a 4.5" square piece of thin, copper sheet for a DIY project.

I know the stuff is starting to become expensive, but is it still readily available at places like Home Depot and such?

I know the wire is.

i got 8 brand new rolls of wire for sale right now 250ft each

12-2, 14-2, 14-3

I need 250 mm of this. . . not sure what gauge it is.

If you feel like breaking that off of your 250 feet, or have extra laying around, that would be great.

go to home depot.

anything else goes to scrap yard.unless the owner is super dumb. check craigslist.
home depot or lowes is the 2nd choice…

You need that specific type of insulation on it? That looks like underground wire. I have the regular indoor type that doesn’t have that much insulation. If that will work, you can have 2 feet of it. Where are you located?
