Went with Don’s Welding on Transit… great price, great quality.

The fire will wear away at the bricks/pavers over time, unless you line the interior with fireproof bricks (not sure if there is such a thing). The lip adds a nice finishing touch

using pavers alone in a fire pit is actually slightly dangerous. They hold too much water, and aren’t strong enough, so when the moisture heats up and escapes, they can explode.
