how can a 4cyl have an X pipe?..although I wouldnt expect you to be able to answer this, seeming the best you could muster is a 13.7 out of a ws6
I’m stopping down if I get my report finished and the car washed (why does it ALWAYS rain in Bridgeport?!?!)
So the grass can grow and give me work :blue:
The vanity plate said X-pipe, and 13.7 in a stock WS6 is pretty good, considering the air temp was 92, and the track runs uphill (quaker city).
I took my WS6 to quaker city my first time ever drag racing and it was upper 90’s and I also managed a 13.7 @ 105. I know my car could have been in the low 13’s that day considering my 60’ was a 2.23. What was your 60’ time on that 13.7 run? Either way that ws6 looks good and drag racing is just something that is fun to do and it is harder than it looks.
no, 13.7 is not good for a ws6, in 92 degree weather at quaker, dont kid yourself.
I’ve piloted a bone stock Z28 and SS to 13.1 at QCR many of times, in about the same heat, and have witnessed the same thing many times
and an SRT4 cannot have an x pipe
and quaker’s track goes downhill, before it goes uphill
I think I am going to try to head out there this Sunday since I will already be out that way.
