who can put a f150 sliding window gasket in my truck?

Hey guys.

I’ve got a 98 f150. From the factory alot of these things came with a defective gasket (or frame) in the rear sliding window.

My rear window is leaking a little bit in two places and its driving me nuts.

Ford sells a “fix kit” for it, which i’m going to pickup.

You need to pull the rear window out, replace the frame and gasket, then put it back in.

Is there anyone on here who wants to do the job on the side or something, and knows what they are doing?

I’ll help you do it… can’t be too hard. Probably just some kind of retaining hardware/trim and a gasket I’d think.

i did a few back when i worked at a ford dealer, nothing big. at first i was worried i would drop the glass, but it stayed in place. an extra set of hands helps though. Its been about 3 years since i did one
