Who has the fastest car NA?

Lots of runs this year and lots of tracks passes by everyone…
It seems the more and more I watch vids and read stories the more people with power adders I see…

Perhaps running na is a thing of the past but it got me wondering, who has the fastest car on nyspeed without boost or spray??

I have a hunch it is somebody with a big block.

I was thinking it might be that Nova that was for sale awhile back but I know that used spray on occasion as well, dont know what it did off the spray

I know that there is faster cars but last year i had a 1969 dodge coronet with a 499 stroker in it and i ran 7.6 at lancaster.

i ran a 7.62 @ 93.1 at lancaster this year… N/A fwiw

1/8 mile? 7.2s I think some 7.1s at the shootout 97mph

I’m 9.9’s at NYI… but im 2 tires short of a car.

BLKUUS6 went like 9.81 I think this year NA in his camaro

Race cars don’t count.

I would guess that on this board it would be dpm90iroc. I think he’s mid/high 10’s N/A.

backed up his best today 10.71 NA SBC

Iroc wheels on da frunt

does he drive it on the street?
I guess I should clarify I mean cars that are driven to the track

dpm90iroc car was f’n moving today

Yes he does drive it on the street.

nice…anyone faster??

:word:

many pump gas big blocks in the 10’s

I don’t think studderin’s the fastest but his times are phenomenal for just a cam

Definitely FastMoFo if he was still in the game… AND FYI :tspry:IS NA!

How is spray considered naturally aspirated? It’s not something the engine naturally needs to operate.

Not starting shit, just curious to see your opinion on it.

What does n/a stand for? Naturally Aspirated.

Aspirated

Aspirate \As"pi*rate, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Aspirated; p. pr. & vb. n. Aspirating.] [L. aspiratus, p. p. of aspirare to breathe toward or upon, to add the breathing h; ad + spirare to breathe, blow. Cf. Aspire.]

Naturally Aspirated means the engine draws it’s own air by piston vacuum only, not using “forced induction” which induces air under forced or pressurized means.

N20 is N/A because the engine is still inducting air (and fuel) by piston vacuum, not pressurization.
