i have so many friends like this. most people want a challenge anymore, they cant be happy with just having something good, they want to feel like theyre doing something in the relationship, doing somthing for the better, and they stick with these assholes cause they feel that they can make difference, and all they do is try and get treated like shit, and start the cycle all over again
It’s actually more of a lack of self esteem thing. She thinks she deserves it.
Hitting his wife in public is textbook severe anger. It won’t be long before she’s in the hospital for a while after he beat her to within an inch of her life for overcooking the pot roast.

Does this use of “anymore” make sense to anyone? I think I’ve heard people use it to mean something like “these days,” or “now,” but I really don’t think the word itself is a synonym to “now.”
