If a mod can decide by public poll who to ban why cant we decide to unban people? I know beck caused some drama but all in all he is a good dude and shouldnt be perma banned. I dont know the specifics of the ILC deal but if you do post up his case.

Its bullshit that if we can “vote” to ban people why can we not do the reverse? Im pretty sure anyway even if we do want a member back they will still shit all over the idea anyways. So yeah youre right in that respect that it will wind up being pointless
Why do we need to vote.We all knew just karter was going to be gone. Beck and ilc although they both are hilarious are just going to end up banned again.
My opinion ? neither beck nor ILC should be banned, yeah so they neither of them have a content filter on their mouths, fine I get that some of the racist shit cant be spread around here, but really what makes me mad is that we can still have all these noobs (See pervious thread/poll) running around here fail posting, but we have these two jackass’s banned, who BTW are actually involved in the auto community and do know their shit, why ? because they tear people apart, most of the time people that dont belong here anyway. and I really done appreciate that infractions myself, in threads that should have been locked seconds after being made anyway, Nikuk, we’ve never met, but Im sure your a great guy and I dont mean to criticize your mod skills, but I think your nazism is directed at the wrong group of people.
seems like alot of people dont want to pay to play on nyspeed. Don’t be a general assshat and don’t worry about infractions of perma bans. I do miss ILC and some of his comments making me rofl pretty hard but I guess thats the price you pay. I think the mods are doing a decent job of trying to create an online community which is more than just a popularity contest, but one where people with very little automotive knowledge (like myself) yet still interested in cars can learn from the wealth of automotive intelligence found on this board.
Agreed, but I wish some of those people would listen more than speak, I learned that the hard way, and I learned it, so the flaming my be rough but it works.
What i really want out of this is the proof that deomcracy works. If we all can agree to ban someone that we can get them unbanned as well. What the “person” who was banned does after that is up to them.
