I always found it more useful to be able to click a person’s screen name under the “whose currently on” and go to their profile then to write them a message. Last message I wrote was to an active member that I finally received the reply to like 1 1/2 months later. All messages have always been delayed for me.
lpp or private message?
lpp
I hate the LPP messenger. Do people prefer it over PMs?
I use it all day
i totally agree that clicking on the user name should go to the profile… an option to lpp could be there i guess.
i’ve never seen the lpp messenger anywhere else.
LPP has never worked for me.
LPP doesn’t offer that option… :meh:
hmm i like lpp
I always use it when i feel like a member and I are starting to “chat” in a thread ill take the convo there. Like when I send geehee FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU about 10x a day
It’s not going to be around after the next upgrade anyway. We’ll look for a comparable system that doesn’t interfere with getting to a users profile.
i disabled mine thru my user options (LLP). so i can just click their name, and it takes me to their profile. however i did this before this new skin thing update, is this not an option now?
My LLPs are still disabled…
Sorry for the canned generic response, but we are working on the next version of the software and have no plans to fix or modify this version. The next build should be within 2 months depending on vbulletins gold release schedule. We have already paid for the upgrade which gives us beta software to test and build from. Big and great things are coming.
The lpp mesenger is not in our plans for the next build unless you guys really want it.
lpp messenger gets a  from me
Awesome. Just did it and it works. clicking the user just takes me to their profile.
logged onto another computer and got a couple month old message…
ive used llp its nifty, but not needed. it is much easier for chit chat than a pm tho. pm is too similer to email, llp is more like aim
Well, if there is an available script for the next version I will consider it, but I am not really going to go out of my way for this feature. I have had the same issues as everyone else that is using it. It is just not reliable code.
Just in here to add that LPP gets me through my workday and I definitely enjoy it as a feature.
i <3 lpp
