no… not to good at apples to oranges, sorry
welp actually I just asked her she said no both the pictures that are pink with red "x"s are fine.
red/pink… as long as theres no smear, then theres no sign of condensation/water damage.
Warrantied replacement then.
tip: don’t tell them its the battery since a battery is considered wear/tear, say this
“we’ve swapped batteries to the phones, and no matter which battery we use, we get sub par life spand, when using it on this phone”
basically direct the problem to the phone, and not the battery, but turn the phone in with the bad battery, theyll run 2 tests, if what you say is true, the problem will get verified with one of those tests
what is it 1 year on the battery?
if so I will tell her to bring it in maybe tomarrow. Do I need to bring anything in with it like the box? I don;t think I have the recipet. You guys should have the purchase date on file with everything else including blood samples…
like i said, battery is iffy, no, just bring the phone with you, everything is on file
cool thanks
also, pretty funny thing about my phone. Used it NONE today, is now pretty much dead. Used it a lot yesterday (probably 30 mins talking time +) and held a decent charge all day.
:dunno:
30 min is alot of talking time?
dont charge phones over night… 2 hours max, from dead to full
think of it like this… its like pouring a 1/5 of liquor into a shot glass if you leave em on over night like that
lithium batteries can only be charged for so many hours in their lifespand, before their performance detiorates
for me it is…
Blue~ I thought that it just stopped charging once it was full?
not all phones have smart chargers, the phone maybe capable of realizing its battery is full, and even say “charging complete”, but standard chargers arent smart enough to stop sending current. It’s more of a “dummy light” if you have the wrong charger type.
typically only motorola, and samsung phones come standard with such a charger. most other companies market their smart chargers as “rapid chargers” or “travel chargers”
theyre also typically $10-$15 more
I don’t need all that… I just want to be able to talk more than an hour without it dying. (And I don’t usually send a lot of text messages either…). I’ll try and bring it in this week, but it may not be until Saturday before I go to work.
$25 charger can save your $65 battery, and give you the proper amount of talk time, for up to 18 months
i always laughed when people told me they could get the chargers much cheaper at cvs ($5)
pop goes the battery
fyi(everyone): using a non branded charger, i.e using a generic motorola charger on a motorola phone, voids all warranties. 99% of those $5 specials you can buy at cvs aren’t licensed products
some phones tell you if it’s not a real charger
“incompatible charger”
