Yep, another stupid question from me…
My temperature (coolant temp) works fine… it starts off as cold and then gradually moved to exactly half way between cold and hot.
But I’m just curious… why does it stay there EXACTLY. Like it doesn’t move even a milimeter…
I ask because on my mom’s car the “normal” temperature was 80, but if say you went really fast and blasted the heat it would drop to about 70… and if you were in traffic it would rise up to 85ish, then 90 or so in the summer if you have the ac blasting while in traffic, etc.
But mine doesnt’ move at all… it doesnt matter if I’m doing 100 on the highway or stopping every 2 seconds in traffic, it’s at exactly the same place (once the car is warmed up).
Thanks.
PS. I have another concern but I dont’ want to start a whole new thread on it…perhaps someone can chime in? I just bought a set of tools, and I was using the bigass ratchet thing to attempt to take off a bolt (it was REALLY tight), and then all of a sudden it just turned but the bolt didnt turn… and I had to use a LOT of force to do that… but now, it doesn’t take as much force to make it do that :S so what should I do? I bought the tools less than 30 days ago AND they have a lifetime warranty…but should I return them or are they supposed to kind of do that under really heavy pressure…
Thanks.
