Windows explorer keeps crashing...

My sweet new computer is acting up a little, when I am browsing around for files windows explorer crashes. It would crash when I got to the same folder each time. This has happened a few times before

Any ideas?

Fault Module Name: thumbplug.dll

It’s something to do with a fucked up thumbnail in that folder or your using some weird viewer

You could try renaming C: \Windows\system32 humbplug.dll

OR

If it’s actually a system file you might be able to run system file checker…

OR

you can just buy a Mac

haha, first link on the search is a pro/E forum posting. Deleting that .dll seems to solve the issue.

and I want to dual boot osx on this computer but I went AMD instead of Intel so I guess it’s nearly impossible.

edit: I just got an email from the hackintosh forum asking me to come back. lol, talk about ironic. Perhaps someone over there will give me a lmgtfy link.
