I am not talking about drag racing
Any monkey can floor it and go in a straight line. I am talking about hot lapping and eventually [once I get a tow vehicle] road racing my Focus. This includeds turning left and right anywhere from 10-20 times a lap at places like VIR, Beaverun, Nelson Ledges, Mid Ohio, Gingerman.

are you calling all drag racers monkeys
i guess you never drag raced at a track more to it than just hitting the gas

I didn’t say all drag racers were monkeys, I did say that any monkey could do it. Like any sport the faster you go and want to go takes more and more talent [on top of power].
I need the harness because I dont have a race seat yet, not because my car is in the 11’s or 10’s.

your still saying that drag racing is easy, so easy that a monkey can do it
shame on you x2
i can see a harness but realisticly how bad do you really need it?
To quote from you…
i guess you never … raced at a track
Hot lapping at Beaverun can be almot more dangerous than drag racing.

dude chill…
taking twisties on the street is more dangerous than at a track
powersliding is cool. until you hit a curb:ouch:

That sounds like a post in a different thread.
We should try to keep this forum On topic.

not playin around but, have you been to pepboys lately
they have some cheap racing seats, dont know if they have harnesses
but give it a shot. i know summit is always having a scratch and dent sale
sometimes there are harnesses in it
you can only see the scratch and dent section in person

I am looking for non reclineable FIA approved seats. Summit has them form time to time, too much of pain to run out to be honest. Pep Boys seats are not FIA approved [to the best of my knowledge]
