@bing already blew me in but whatever.
i bought an 89 325is with an s52/obd1 conversion…(from seattle)
so i flew out sat morning from san diego to start the adventure.
landed at SeaTac and drove 45 min north to pick it up
now the drive home…
fuel stop glamour shots
lunch.
another pit stop.
chassis rolled 175k that night
more fuel…
caught a few z’s then hit the road again before the sun came up
so early and way too goddamn bright
anyway my time isnt very impressive but i did 13XX miles in 23 hours.
here are a few other shots of the car…
ok now you know so its time for me to take a moto trip with a bunch of degenerates to Mexico for the next 5 days. later.

Damn that thing is clean.
Any more plans for it? Or is this the ‘leave it alone and drive it car’ that won’t stay that way.
I like your shirt, very dapper.
Love the color, as I already told you Chooch.
How come no tape on the front portion this time? I usually do still.
Is this what a hipster is suppose to look like, just minus the facial hair?
Nice car btw
Nice car. Jesus fuck that thing revs high on the highway though.

So pumped you bought that. Congrats!
Walker and I had a moment or two during the auction. I think I was sweating more than he did.
I call first in line when you sell it in a year or less.
Congrats again and enjoy Mexico, brother. Don’t die.

Now…explain to me in “non-BMW fan boy talk” - what motor is swapped into this thing? ie - 1998 M3 motor - 2001 M5 Motor.
