Its because when youre riding g style(seat reclined far too far), and have a flatbrim on, its hard to hit the buttons.
i have a one of a kind 66 chevelle malibu convertible. it has been professionally shortened. it is set up with a B&M slapstick shifter, roll cage, and budweiser keg in the trunk for a fuel tank. It has no doors or roof of any kind but is set up for a snap on style canvas roof and is nice and low,( my girlfriend and i can get in with no problems and shes only 5’6’’ tall ). it has a 350 engine, engine is fully dressed in chrome, i believe a 350 automatic transmission. runs excellent. has manual brakes. the car drives nice and straight doesnt pull or anything. it is inspected in new york state until the end of september. it ws made as a parade vehicle in southern new york in the mid 80s. actual mileage is unknown to me. the interior needs minor finihing (side windows and interior side panels) and the exterior could use a little body work. cheater panels were put in the rear quarters but whoever did that didnt blend them in properly and rippled the panels with bondo. it is fixable i just havent had time to mess with it. it is in black primer at the moment. the frame is solid as well as the floors
