There are some early 90s turbo 3.8 FWD GMs. I’ve only ever seen the pontiac versions. They are actually fairly rare and decently quick, but it isnt the exact same motor as the GN
1988 rx7 with a 1988 buickgrand national turbo motor. modds done to motor are all brand new include, 70mm teal wastegate, greddy blowoff valve, garret gt35r turbo 70 cold side 86 hot side,and the turbo is ported and polished,greddy boost controller,(’‘maf translator pro’‘top of the line new computer for grand nationals hooks up to the dell laptop that comes with the car ), also 60lb fuel injectors, aeromotive fuel pump, 15 gallon fuel cell with stainless steel lines, trw forged 30 over pistons,head work done, eagle rodds, clevite valves&seals and springs,heads were decked and plained, for high boost, high oil pressure oil stand alone oil cooling system by k&n , unorthodox under drive pullys, stainless steel headders, 3’’ down pipe off turbo heat wrapped, big intercooler, 3’’ intercooler pipeing, 4 core aluninum upgraded radiator, electric fan, egr block off for more boost, ported and polished upper plenium, autometer gauges, wide band 02 sensor, very very fast car last year before i did all the upgrades. no miles on modded motor and the car needs a transmission and roll cage suggested, well under 9 secondt quarter mile time in a 2,700 lb car around 750hp to 800hp and around 750 ft lbs tourque i have the adapter for a gm 5 speed to hook up… i want to trade for a 99-03 f250 extended cab 4x4 or a 92-03 cummings 2500 extended cab 4x4 or 6,500 cash call (518) 858-6659 or (518) 587-2752
