How does a brand new EVO have back pressure issues? And y would he not bring it to the dealer under warranty? A lot of holes in this kids story to make any sence at all. Haha.

Might be an odd vehicle to do that kind of work & swap to…but the quality of the work done, and the parts used in the build look to be more legit than most builds on Shift518.

Edit: After looking at it some more the shop that built it is very legit. “Ramey Built” or Chris Ramey. His shop car is below and I’m pretty sure runs 8’s @ 170+mph

that probably isn’t a bad price at all for that car if the guy really has the all those parts and it just need engine repair then assembly.
only problem he doesnt mention: crank, rods, pistons, block… Which is why it probably was removed and taken apart with 55kmi on it. I bet it tossed a timing belt or blew the bottom end.
whats one of them worth built and running? 8K to the right buyer? If it needs hard parts down low, $1500-2K for good shit, less $500+ for machine work, and time to put it together. Its a tight squeeze to do and be ahead in my book. And I bet the kid ball beat that angle eyes neon, so clutch, flywheel, axles, etc on top of all that stuff.
