I saw spyshots posted somewhere of the production model and was dissapointed. Hopefully they deliver something that looks like this. I am somewhat considering a new car but am waiting for something around 30-40k to grab my interest. This migt do it.

I really like the concept… if I dont go luxo or they dont make the turbo BRZ in the next few years I will get this…
but idk where the “huge improvement,” and “finally looks good” is coming from? Yeah theyre not for everyone and this is a much more agressive look compared to past models, but Subaru has always done a very nice and tasteful job of making their sport models simple yet agressive. If anything you can say this almost looks like a TC done right.
Of course this is comming from Subaru Fanboi racer extraordinaire so im clearly biased lol
Yeah I’ve never had an issue with WRX styling, but this looks good. How watered down a production model will be has yet to be determined.
Agreed, I’ve always loved the looks of Subaru. The 2.5rs was a very nicely done car.
But all through the following years I liked them. I wasn’t such a fan of the recent wagon they had, but its definitely grown on me. I like what they did with the fenders of the car and maybe just me, but love the mud flaps you can get on those.
This newest look, if they go through is a very good and completely new direction for the car. I’m sure it will litter the streets if they keep it.

It looks great but it also looks to be the length of a small yacht.
Its just the angle of the picture and the lower roof line. Looks great!
