wtb: 10 gig HD ......or for free would be cool too :)

my old 10 gig died, currently working with a borrowed 3 gig

need to get a replacement 10 gig so i can reassemble my computer and give fuzzyfish his hd back

slow, old hdd’s okay?

yea, thats ok, all my image /audio / video files are on my 20 gig … so most of the saving / loading i do will still be decent speed

out of curiousity tho, what rpm’s does it run ?

i dunno, i have to dig it out of the case thats been collecting dust for a few months.

Will update this evening when I get home.

So, I just got finished tearing through my desk & office… Dunno where the HDD is. IF i come across it I’ll post…

sorry.

I’m sure there are reasons… but why not get a bigger HDD? You don’t have very much space.

Yeah, I need that back sometime soon so I can finish getting my server back to 100% The 2GB drive is not cutting it.

You can have my 20 GBer, I am going to adding some mroe memory to this machine soon, buying some off someone on the .org. As soon as I am in there, ill pull it and you can have it. It works fine, just needs to be reformated.

officer, that would be sweet, thanks

and im not upgrading size because i already have a 20 gig that i almost never fill … if it is full it usualy means its time to erase porn, but for the most part it hovers around 7-10 gigs of stuff

i got some old xbox drives, i think theyre 8gb. i think some of em are locked and some are not. u can have one or two of them if ude like

I have a SCSI 20GB drive… but it’s big. About the size of 2 5.25" drives.

Jeeze, how old is that thing man?

sounds even bigger then the drive this computer originally had … meaning its gotta be from like before 1997 … whats it spin at? the speed of vynal

Holy, ancient shit batman. If you can get me some specs on that though I might be able to use that for my server. Mainly interface type, transfer rate/seek time. If it’s near where my 2gb drive is I’ll rock it.

I’ll have to look up the specs, I’m not even sure I still have the book that came with it. Yeah, it’s old, but rock solid
