Brandon…Can’t wait to se pics of the wheels on the Sy.

I do think that isn’t a concern from him since all his cars are imaculate

i’m certainly not gonna run them bare. they’ll have some kinda coating on them. i jumped on this set cause of the price. my last resort will be to pickup a set of 5spoke AFS knockoffs on ebay at the last minute. But we’ll see if anything else comes up.

do you run spacers/adapters in the back? or is the 454SS offset fine for the vette wheels?

Adapters front & rear. Remember the Sy/Ty’s are 4wd based, so they have FWD style offset from the factory. The 454SS uses regular RWD offset (I think the original wheels had 3.5" or 4" backspace on a 15x7 wheel - similar to my '66 GTO’s 7" wheel). I have a 1.25" front spacer & 1.75" rear spacer. The fronts I had bought, but the rears I had made at a machne shop 10 years ago. Nobody had them back then. Now for $300 I could buy a complete set that are CNC machined with hub-centric centers. Try here: http://www.motorsport-tech.com/ They make a nice product.

What I like most about the Vette wheels on yours and Brandon’s truck is that they fit the era of the truck. 90’s wheels on 90’s trucks is where it’s at.

that was creative. :blah:

x2
