WTB: 1g headers

anyone have stock, maybe after market, 1g headers (with the bolts and stud) lying around they want to get rid of?

the headers I have on the car now are crap and I can’t find my stock headers anywhere and not sure if I got rid of them or not, but I’ve been searching the past 2 days and just can’t find them… so if anyone has one, it would be very much appreciated

oh yeah, and it’s for a turbo model… forgot to mention that

  1. A 1g what? DSM?
  2. If your application is turbo, the part that you’re probably referring to is called an exhaust manifold, not a header.

i got one not cracked at all.40bucks

some advise is to go with a 2g exaust mani because not only do they hold up better (cracking) but they also flow better.

word

DSM, sorry that I forgot to specify… I’m used to being on rochesterdsm where it’s all dsm cars…

you have to drill couple of the holes out in the 2g headers, don’t you?

and right now, it doesnt really matter whether it’s 1g or 2g, I just need an “exhaust manifold” to figure out if that’s the reason my turbo isn’t kicking right because I’m having a major boost problem and air leak I’m suspecting (unless the turbo is just shot). plus the exhaust manifold on my car now is a piece of S*** ebay one… and I just need something for now, that’s all… and I’m moving to North Carolina in about 2 weeks, so I just want it to run right, or hopefully have it run right, before I leave because I’m leaving this car up here for now and taking my honda down until I can bring my eclipse down…

The 2g mani will bolt right up

I have one from a 1991 TSi. I think it may be aftermarket, not sure.

oh, well, I forgot who told me, but I asked someone if the 2g manifold would work and they said holes had to be drilled to make the bolts fit… I’m not sure… haha

how much and where are you located?

It’s an Evo III manifold:

Used 2k miles. $100, located in West Seneca.

that’s Buffalo area, right?

and do you have any extra bolts for it, the ones that are for the top of the manifold to the top of the turbo?

No extra bolts, sorry.

Yep, it’s near South Buffalo.

I can let it go for $60, want it gone.

I’m good on the manifold now… I got an evo III exhaust manifold from a guy I know who had a couple laying around for like $25…
