…was looking for a 350 chevy motor the one that i have has a crack between the 3rd and 4th cylinder walls…anyways i need a motor…i’d much rather buy one thats been rebuilt not somthing that was pulled yesterday and needs a full rebuild…a motor that has already been to the machine shop would be great even better if it had heads and crank and pistons…ive about 500$ to spend and want to get it saturday but i havent found anything worth a shit…if you have someone in mind please give me a shout…

I dont know if you’ll take me serious. But, 4 bolt mains are the way you want to go, but unless you plan on staying above 5000 rpms all the time it isn’t necessary. Although if you buy a 2 bolt main you can buy a 4 bolt splayed main cap kit for 85$ and machine to accept the 4 bolts and it actually be stronger than a stock 4 bolt main in which they normally go straight down compared to splayed which is at an angle. unfortonately i dont know of anyone with either though…
my buddy has a 2 bolt main he’s selling with that 4 bolt conversion kit Z28LT1Rocket was talkin about. It’s just the block though

i have a 93 350 complete from tbi to pan minus tensioner pulley and belt. it was in buddies moms yukon 80k. 400$ was gonna use it for my truck but no times and i now need more motor than a 350. to tow my trailer. so it’s just in my way.

go wit the one hank has ,clean motor and also has the newer vortec heads on it that flow well and thats damn cheap most junk yards are gonna hit ya 5-600 for a junk one.also when it comes to stock blocks there isnt a huge diff in strenth between the 2 and 4 bolt blocks the real streanth is in a splayed 4 bolt bolt ,but ya can only do it on a 2 bolt block
for 500$ buck ur more than likey not gonna get an honest rebuilt motor!!!
it was driven in my shop stripped and yanked out. been siting there on a stand since.
