yea great point there. thats probably why he was looking locally for the part from somebody with a reputation around here with vouches, or for people who can vouch for the part itself. I wouldnt trust buying something like a turbo off ebay either… nor would i buy a no name “ebay turbo” from china. But ppl saying if you dont spend at least a grand are just trying to justify their purchases and thats just unnecessary. Cool for them they have the money to spend $1300 on a turbo alone but other people have different priorities in life like supporting their family, buying/ maitaining a house, etc
