WTB: 88 YZ 125 Parts

bah u got nothin on the cr

nice. that tire is fuckin old school, haha. never heard of that before, but it looks decent. have it ready for nextweekend. bluemeanie, fuck that CR, bring that kawi out so i can take it for a spin :blue:

i was out today on some trails but they’re quad trails so there’s nowhere to open it up i was a lil upset, and stupid 90 degree turns right before steep hills.

ya, 125s suck in trails sometimes. they can be a bitch when u need the torque. get that kx on a track though and i’m sure itll be awesome. i want to see how it turns cause i heard they have great handling and i havent ridden a kx since they went to that newest style.

i’m good on straight lines…turning is a lil rough still. the hill wasn’t all about lack of torque but more the crazy on/off switch the throttle is, too much it was comin over on me, not enough and i bogged so i ended up clutching it up the hill…least now i know how to go up it

ya. well still thats how 125s run. its sorta all or nothing when it comes to the power. its tough to be smooth w/ them in the woods. u gotta feather the clutch, so u were correct in doing that. i hammer my clutch also, but thats how they were made.

88 YZ125?

:bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

freeebie!

I know someone who has a free 84 Civic DX. You want that too?

(in all seriousness, that bike isnt worth the cost of a tank of gas. Ride it till it breaks and then toss the thing in the garbage. I saw you were looking for plastics and shit like that… the phrase “you cant polish a turd” has never been more appropriate.

we got it running and it acctually ran kinda strong. if i had to put $200 into it, i dont really have a problem with it. i dont have money to go drop on a new one… Id love to have a new CR, but kinda out of my range…

$200 into a old crappy bike > $4000 into a new one.

Plus its a starter, fuck around, who cares if i wreck thing

im not saying that you cant have fun with it, I just know you’d be better off saving your money for something a little (or a lot) nicer rather than dumping it into that bike. You could probably pick up something worth your while for around a grand.

yeah. i know. but i still have $3,000 left on my credit card to pay off the transmission in the mustang and the monte carlo is going to die who knows when. im just playing it safe until i can easily afford one

if he doesn’t have a grand and wants to learn how to ride a free bike is where it’s at…so why tell him he’d be better of buying a better bike for a grand if he doesn’t have the money for it?

Im sorry, was I talking to you? Because I would have swore that my comment was directed to Chad.

then PM him next time

how about no?

how about no, Scotty.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

So i still need plastics… anyone know where to get them CHEAP?? or does anyone live by Cycle recyclers in Butler that could check that place out for me?

theres one in butler?
