As the title states i would like to buy a cheap metal bed frame, nothing fancy just something to keep my bed off the ground.

I went to a mattress store, or to a furniture store like Ashley, I can’t remember. They had two options. a cheap standard one for $40, or the better one that had cross beams and casters for $60 or $70. It is worth the little extra IMHO.
Put the bed on the floor. How many times are you going to let fatties keep breaking your frame?
