WTB: Blown Turbo

Looking for any blown turbo. Don’t care what it is. Not looking for something rusted. Basically I want something I can tear apart well I’m here to better understand how they work and such. Afterwards I’d like to clean it up and keep for no reason. Let me know what you guys got. Looking to spend very little, obviously since its blown and that I will have no use for it.

how much are you looking to spend?

Like $20-50. Cheap to free would be best, but I doubt free will happen.

warm air goes in one side, cold air goes out the other.

Well no shit. I want to see all of the insides and what they replace when they rebuild them. I also want to see everything thats inside.

Doing > Reading. Just because you can read it doesn’t mean you can do it.

And that article bearly goes into the workings.

Should make a nice display piece once you get it back together.

Really it’s just two metal housings with a shaft.

then why did you not find it? besides reading+reading+reading+doing= understanding. the more you read the better off you will be. but your right you can buy a turbo look at it and not understand it… true.

I know all about turbos. I’ve read about them hours on end in the past. Know that I have all the tools I could possibly need at my expense I figure I can finally fully disassemble one and put it back together correctly. Taking pictures along the way to show that I have learned how to do it. I may also port and polish the housings to have a piece of work I can show to perspective employers.

Got what I need by the way. This thread can be closed. Thanks Carnut!

^^Hmm no. So I can physically learn how to do so I can show people what I can do. You just can’t seem to understand this concept though.
