If you decide you want to go a little older I would be willing to part with my 02 CBR for less than 4k. It does have a scraped fairing from the PO learning to do circles in a parking lot, but I’ve had it to a Honda dealer for fork seals and a check up. No mechanical issues what so ever good tires, has a scorpion exhaust, 5-20 sprocket set, flush blinkers, crash cage. It’s a great bike and I don’t really need to sell it, but I don’t get to ride it anymore and would rather finish my 91 camaro with the money.
Really looking for something newer than that, thanks though,.
You can easily find some thing for under 5 but around 4 is hard for a newer bike
I’m slightly flexible past 4, but not that much. I’ve found a ton of 06/07 636’s for 5k with low miles. Gonna investigate those.
I may be picking one up off of tonys cousin soon for cheap

07 was a different body style than 06 and it’s a 600.
Season is fast approaching and you will struggle to find anything that new in the 4k range. Supersports hold their value very well once they loose the initial depreciation of a few grand. Early 2000’s will go for 3k beat, 4k decent in spring.
I found a ton of 06s for 5K with like 2kmi on them. I’m looking at those.
