I don’t see why your not even considering getting a normal mustang(fox bod, or something). RWD, they are cheap, you already know your way around the 5.0 and the car, easy to mod with plenty of aftermarket. I think your just trying to set yourself away from the tigerstang too much.
I’m not saying get another stang, just maybe consider it? Though you have made it pretty clear you don’t want one.
Edit: And if you got the right one you could have a lot of extra cash to work with. Are you going to daily and winter whatever car you get?

dude obd2 hondas are easy, keep turbo kit on, keep aftermarket exhaust on. put stock ecu in and plug in an apexi afc done. glw the del sol man
