My distributor just melted its rotor; I guess the bushing wore out again.
It’s '92 LX (D15B7 engine), but I’m sure '92-'95 are the same, probably many others, probably the DX model, too.
I need another, but the car is history. I just want to get it home to sell off a few parts and junk it. So, I could buy an old distributor to get the car home, or, best of all, borrow one from some nice person here just for a few days.
Think about it, thanks.
go to M&M, im sure they will have something.
oh and ur car has a D15 motor, not a B15
…and a scrapyard will want >$100 for it.
M&M will definitely not want that much for it. hell, i got an alternator there for 16 bucks a few weeks ago. ide say 25 bucks at most
still, I would have to take time off work to get it, plus pay for it. I can trade parts from the same car, or promise a part in exchange for the borrowing. Keep the price small, please!
im 99% sure i have one layin around shoot me an offer
Bump, still looking. It can be a non-working distributor, as long as it rotates freely (has good bearings). Mine has good guts but bad bearings, so I could fix one that fried the spark coil, for instance.
I have a mint working dizzy if you are still looking. M&M does not have any so dont waste your time
