Got a 97 grand prix that is rusty and ugly, needs brakes and possibly a wheel bearing. New starter and alternator. 1000 bucks. Doesn’t NEED tires but will by winter for sure.

I’ve found plenty of cars I’d need to turn some wrenches on but I’m not willing to do it for him. I realize for 1000-1500$ not many cars arn’t buckets but the most I want to do to it for him is brakes and an oil change
Well, like I said it needs brakes, maybe the wheel bearing. Don’t know for sure, don’t really care enough to check lol. Those motors are supposed to be bulletproof I guess. Don’t know. I got my girlfriend a better looking car and traded it with her.
My point is I don’t want to be doing wheel bearings. If anyones got something else let me know!
I still have that ford. Its ready to go. If your feeling generous do the e brake cables for him otherwise id run it. It runs great.
I mean hed prob take it as long as the ebrake gets replaced. I have no experience with that. Post up some pics if you got a minute.

Do you even realize what you’re asking? The things people are offering are more than fair. Get on craigslist and find something if you’re going to be so picky.
Im asking for a car that I dont need to do any major repairs on for 1500$ tops. Thats not being picky when i simply stated what i wanted and alls ive been offered is cars that need work or out of his price range.
Its not for me in the first place its for a buddy and im not willing to turn wrenches for him. If he only has 1500 to spend why bother offering up cars that are more money?
He is however interested in that little ford. Would probably be willing to do 1300 if the ebrake line was fixed.

For $1500 youre gonna get a junker that needs work or has 200k.
His parents were supposed to give him a car but that didnt work out. I only started looking again last week. Im looking on craigslist also. How about instead of negative comments you take your bs elsewhere.
